Unfortunately, my good wife has other ideas as to how to spend our money...

You know, those pesky little details of day to day living such as food, water, electricity and the mortgage!  I WANT to bite the bullet and do the ad - I think that it would pay off in the long run, but it would also benefit my publisher and the booksellers a lot more than it would help me and none of them are offering to help pay for it!

Perhaps this is where this web site will pay off???  Pass it on!  Link me to your friends and they may thank you for it!  I've never had anyone regret buying one of my books and many people have read POISON PEARLS multiple times.  If you're traveling to Iran, though, I recommend that you leave it at home!

Many of my readers from POISON PEARLS have been asking when my next book might be coming out and they'll be pleased to hear that GOING WITHOUT PEGGY is now available!  Two very different books, but they ore both obviously from the Heart and Mind of Karl Stuart Kline!

An update on the "current projects" in this ad is timely now, especially since Brain stemmed Roses is under contract and should become available in the next couple of months.  That should be timely if anything comes of my entries in this year's Pulitzer competition.  There are a lot of exceptional factors at play here, though, since my work is not in what might be considered the modern style.  Rhyme and meter seem to be largely out of fashion and you will find some prime examples of both between the covers of my books!  Perhaps my work will be extolled as "the new modernity" by some, but I would not go so far as to say that, only commenting that I will follow my Muse wherever she leads me and that is in total disregard to whatever might be considered to be fashionable at the time.
